Good numbers for a fight on short notice.

Khan is not a draw, it is open knowledge now they shut some of the arena down Friday night because they couldn't get rid of the tickets, and they didn't want empty seats on TV and the tickets that did go, a large number were given away.

Give it up Khan fans, he has nothing to offer Mayweather or even Pacquiao after Friday.

This was free to air right?

Somebody told me the only reason it was on Spike is that Khan misheard in a meeting when a women said "Spike" and he thought she said "Skype" :hey

I would argue the live gate of the event would be a better indicator since it was on free to air tv in the States. I think they said there were not even 3,000 tickets sold the arena seats like 17k for boxing and they gave away a ton of tickets it was a total papered house.

Ticket wise? Yeah, hes not. Him vs Garcia did horrible numbers.
Why are they selling tickets at such high prices anyways?

Floyd sells PPVs, and Khan will bring in British/South Asian fans.

Its the biggest money fight left at 147

It isn't, Garcia is if you consider him in the 147 mix. I'll wait to rule him out until the Paulie fight is official.

Garcia is not going to be considered. He's had zero fights at the full 147lbs limit and has been on the down side lately. I really don't understand how some of you are seriously thinking Garcia will be considered. Cotto II(if he beats Geale next and looks impressive) at Middleweight, Khan and Pacquiao II are the only three names that are possibly going to be considered for September with Khan being the least possible out of the three.
