Selby is too big. Wont happen. If Selby moves in any direction it will be up. Carl would be mad to leave 122.
That said Team Frampton has already show poor judgement, leaving Sky, turning down Quigg, not marketing himself better to a wider audience outside Belfast - starting with the nearby sports-hungry Republic, an obvious market....etc.

There he is ---twiddling his thumbs, wasting his prime. The guy he beat twice gets Quigg.:-(

Theres no telling how short a boxers prime is going to be. Barry, -- - of all people should know this. Times awastin'.

Well IF that happens...who will he fight?
Looks like LSC V Mares is finally 'on', if so it wont be either of those two, and it can't be Quigg. There are not too many Quigg-level opponents left for him at this rate! :-(

Spike Lee! Spike Lee! Spike Lee!

(and no I'm not cheering on the angry black director)

A win-win situation - we get an exciting fight, and the title stays in Irish hands after Spike chins Andy.
One fly in the ointment though - BJS.

Would be great if Andy got a handy one after his shoulder injury,BJS will be making serious money sitting on his ****.

Spike has nothing but a punchers chance against Andy and a slim one at that. If Quillin couldn't put him out, I dont think Spike can. And Andy has far better offensive skills than Spike to, would be a one sided points loss or a late stoppage defeat for Spike imo.

He doesn't deserve the fight at the moment either, for what its worth.

I bet the real Spike Lee would claim trademark infringement and sue the pants off the two fighters if the fight actually took place.

About that mysterious 'Shoulder Injury' - we never heard about that when he came home after the Quillin fight -- it sort of crept in later?? He appeared on TV and never mentioned it at all. :fire

Whats the story? What exactly is wrong with his shoulder anyway? :yikes
    Case of Billyjoeitis?
Maybe he's got a sharp stabbing pain in the shoulder - like you get from a 'spike? '

Def. had trouble with Shoulder, came out the following day after Quillin fight,he thought it was pulled muscles but turned out more serious,id say if he fought in the morning with the shoulder injury it would even it up a bit,but id still go with andy for a points win.

OK Dutchie. But Billy Joe has already thoroughly beaten Spike and I say he outpoints Andy too.
How do the Irish lads deal with him?

Also will Nick Blackwell get a high rank in the title ratings now - didnt Ryder have 3rd place? Wont Blackwell take his place? He beats Andy too IMO.

I like both Andy and Spike. I would always have automatically said Lee to win, but we cannot ignore the fact that Anto Fitz ran Lee relatively close whereas we saw what Spike did to the same opponent.
Now I know Andy completely overlooked Fitz, and styles make fights, etc. etc....but there seems to be plenty of evidence to suggest that Spike could well trouble the Limerick man.
