And you're too little. Where did I say it was marketed to high heaven?, saying that an event was actually marketed and advertised is automatically considered "marketed to high heaven"?.

So you're saying that big wins fighters score don't mean much in the long run?. Think it's obvious who the loon is. They are both big stars and if anyone knows who really is a bigger star worth fighting in September then it's obviously team Mayweather. Unless of course, you consider them clueless compared to you or, and I won't be surprised one bit if that's how you think since I've read more idiotic statements, you think they're ducking Garcia.

How on earth could you interpret what I said as Floyd ducking Garcia? I just said that if either of these 2 fights that I don't want to see are made the the Garcia one would do more PPV buys in the US. Floyd should and probably will fight Cotto.

I don't think he'll fight Garcia for the same reasons you outlined, not proven at the weight, hasn't looked good lately. I just said there is history, albeit under different circumstances (as I acknowledged), of Floyd fighting other guys who aren't proven at the weight so it's not entirely impossible for that reason alone. I think Floyd and his camp are smart enough to realize that people would still consider Khan a stronger and more legitimate opponent even after the Algieri fight. But in purely hypothetical terms, out of those 2 fights Garcia would still sell more US PPVs because DSG is Puerto Rican! Just like Guerrero outsold the Maidana rematch when no one in their right mind thought that would be the more
competitive of the two fights. That's all I said, you just interpreted it in a very strange way.

Guessing and interpreting are two different things. I'm also expecting Cotto, but according to rumors(most likely unreliable) they're supposedly negotiating with Khan's team.

    :thumbsup

I think we fundamentally agree, I was never suggesting a Garcia fight was remotely likely, just that it would outsell a Khan fight if both somehow happened in parallel universes. If we disagree on that point then who really cares. Water under the bridge, mate :thumbsup

1.2m peak for such a short notice fight, Mayweather going to be all over that. Huge PPV possibility for him.
