    Are you kidding?

Have you been on these forums at all since the fight?

The sky is collapsing on top of Pac fans in front of our very eyes.

He doesn't care, but it's like clockwork for his scoring in high profile or high stakes (with an ESB darling fighter boxing) fights. I've noticed it years ago and it remains true. He almost seems apologetic in his explanations of late round scores when he does this as well. IB knows I'm a fan of his but this is what it is.

It's the same thing the one official judge, one of the two that turned in 116-112, said during his ESPN interview the week after without directly admitting it (how he watched it again on TV and could have scored rounds 9 and 10 to Floyd as well; but then stressed how different it is several feet away than on television).

Maybe its an subconscious thing with him.:conf But I'm not easily swayed by public opinion about anything. Trying to get me to change my mind on virtually anything is as useful as :wall:yep

    :good

Pac could've sold out entirely and sacrificed his body to go all-out. He didn't.

Given how competitive it was anyway, maybe he blew it.

He did blow it. After he reset in round 4 when he had mayweather on the ropes. He should of came out in round 5 guns blazing. He didn't, he settled in and let Mayweather regain control and cruise. Manny has no one to blame but himself. He didn't go all out and he was in no danger of being ko'd. Fight was a huge letdown. Regardless of who won. It stunk and it was Manny's fault not Floyd's.

Pacquiao haters lack all logic, reason and rationality therefore they are impossible to get through to. Its an exercise in futility.

I could easily give Pacquiao the 2nd. Pac hurt Floyd at the end of the round. Floyd didn't throw much it but he did show the ring generalship; however due to how defensive both were being, Pac edged it for me since he landed a HARD righthand counter at the end of the round. One of his best punches of the fight. Slipped the right hand and landed the right hook and left hand. Mayweather got hurt. Look at both of their reactions. Pac knew he had Floyd hurt after that counter. Floyd knew he couldn't take risks after that point.

I could give him the 7th round too, but I don't think I did. Honestly, rounds 7, 9, and 10 were all ridiculously close. A fan from either side could make a case for the fighter in all three. It was a great competitive fight!!! It's also not the fight I expected from Pacquiao either. I always said if he boxed Mayweather he would lose, but heck, I didn't think he'd make it that competitive doing it. You can't outbox the master boxer though!

Yep. Just like Mosley. They had chances to grind their boot heels into Mayweather's throat and finish him off, but they missed the boat and once he recovered they were fucked.

You can't let Mayweather recover. He isn't ever going to make the same kind of mistake or give the same opening twice in a night.

Yup. It's so crucial to keep Mayweather out of his comfort zone. Don't let him reset. Maidana had a lot of success by not allowing Mayweather to ever "settle in". Head butting, pushing him into the ropes, shoving him onto the ground, rough-housing. Hey, it might not be the nicest of play, but it was pretty effective. Mayweather was complaining to the ref allllllllllll night, but it also showed that it was making him uncomfortable.

Yeah, regardless of how many rounds it got him on anybody's card, there's no doubt that was the most uncomfortable night of Mayweather's professional life, or at least in many years.

Maidana I, anyway. By the rematch he was prepared for all that stuff and threw a wet blanket over Maidana's attempts.

:goodMany rounds were more competitive than Floyd fanatics want to admit. I still gave it to Floyd yet they object to it not being by landslide.
