Prime Haye would be a great fight. I've mentioned his name recently in a thread. Haye's fast, he can evade power shots and he can counter effectively. He's also quite tricky with setting traps. Joshua will destroy slow movers like Charr/Arreola/Solis etc rather easily. Too bad there's no one like Haye at the moment for Joshua to test himself against.
Joshua is green, Haye is inactive. But generally, if Joshua appears to be as tough as he seems to be now against solid fighters, I think he would stand a good chance of beating a prime Haye in a close fight.
I was going to say he doesn't have the power to really test Joshua's whiskers....but he did have Fury on the deck
Well we haven't seen Haye in, what, 3 years now? Don't know what he's waiting for... I wouldn't have much faith in T.O.E. Haye at the moment with several HW's, though.
As much as I don't like him, I'd be surprisingly cool and up for a Haye comeback (no tune ups, just contenders). He'd be an interesting addition into the Joshua-Fury UK HW buzz. EDIT: even if just merely one of their victims.
This is strictly hypothetical since we havent seen Haye fight in over 2 yrs, but..... If he had a couple tuneups, beat atop 20, and they fought before JOshua's 16th fight, I'd tip Haye to win on pts.:think
Cunningham is the most overhyped heavyweight here. His glass jaw isn't made to compete in the heavyweight division. Joshua would crack it in one.
I'd not pick inactive Haye over very active Joshua. Prime and game Haye avoids Joshua's flurries with ease and knocks him out with a counter.
