Hearn: Manuel Charr is a great fight for Anthony Joshua That will be a decent step up for Joshua if it happens.
He (Hearn) named Solis, Charr, Arreola, Thompson, Dillian Whyte, David Price and Derek Chisora. Solis won't take this fight. Charr became a Moscow domestic fighter. Arreola looked poor during his last fight so he might want to get back in game before facing someone like Joshua. Dillian Whyte - I just don't see that happening in the near future. David Price - they ducked even Wach and Teper. Derek Chisora - still no comeback fight after his loss to Tyson Fury. I think he'll have several fights with mediocre fighters, like Johann Duhaupas or Alex Leapai, and will look poor against them. So Tony Thompson is left. He took fights against Price (when he was still considered a threatening force to heavyweight division), Kubrat Pulev, Takam, and Solis twice. This fight is easy to make.
Hearn mentioned that Joshua would be out in July and September and he insinuated that they where planning an opponent for September that would be a noticeable step up in class, so I imagine that the July opponent won't be to impressive. Probably a keep busy fight. September will probably be Charr, Whyte or Price.
He will fight Odlanier Solis most likely. I expect him to fight Manuel Charr later this year on the Povetkin-Wilder card in Moscow.
No it wouldn't be. Cunningham is glass jawed, dude gets knocked down against any kind of puncher. It won't last a round.
I disagree. Unlike the previous boxers Joshua has faced SC actually moves around the ring so Joshua will have to show-off his boxing skills. He might end up knocking him out later on. 1st round? Nope.
