What exactly does this idiot expect on his 'table' other than money? The Brook fight would generate more money than a Mayweather mismatch, plus with Brook we get to see Khan doing the Sharm-El Shake again.

Brook doesn't seem to be interested either. They talked smack only to send Rios a contract.

If Khan losses to Brook or any other fight, there is no May fight for him

If Khan gets May fight and losses to May, Brook's fight is still available.

Do the math people. He is playing it safe. Dont act dumb.

Meanwhile Brook fights Gavin and gets a pass and his fans cry foul for Khan taking Algieri fight who has been in the ring with Pacman. Settle yourself.

And thurman gets a pass for fighting Collazo. We all know who Collazo fought earlier.

And Garcia fights Paulie and will also get a pass.

Is Paulie + Maidana + Alexander + Judah + Algieri + Barrera is greater than Porter + 2X Carson Freaking Jones?? Come on guys..

Khan has said he will not fight Brook even if he fails to get Mayweather and Porter is the best win of all those U listed. Bottom line is this fight is not happening because if Khan loses he is finished. The money, the event, the rivalry and the world title are all there, this fight should be happening next.

Even if Khan gets beaten next Brook still needs him for the payday.

Its not about rankings and for Brook, Khan is the biggest pay day by 3 or 4 times.

Khan is avoiding so many fighters just to get his Mayweather payday, the fact Khan is even mentioned as a Mayweather opponent is disgraceful, Danny Garcia and Lamont Peterson must be thinkin WTF

If I were Khan I'd do the same thing, let Brook fight another actual top 10 ranked welterweight before fighting him so he can build his name up higher.

What's the point in doing it now? There's no way that fight could fill Wembley now and as it is it would be mostly because of Khan. If Khan loses to Mayweather, beats a Broner in January and Brook beats Rios and Guerrero in the meantime then it's a mega fight for twice as much money next year.

I'm not even a Khan fan but I think Brook is way overhyped with a **** resume and I believe Khan beats him comfortably.

To be fair Khan has held belts in 2 weight classes. He's been near the top for years and years and he's fought quite a few champions and world class guys.

Who has Brook fought apart from Porter? Who has he fought since Porter? It took Brook forever to get to the top and now he's there he's squandering his time fighting guys like Dan and Gavin.

Say what you like about the Algieri fight (and I wasn't impressed myself) but at least Algieri has proved himself. Algieri was a more credible match up and a tougher fight than Jo Jo Dan or Frankie Gavin.

Porter's win was a MD and not even schooling or a wide UD. Dont be biased in your opinion. And stating Porter MD wins is better than the entire Khan's resume is, I dont know man, BS

Someone who clearly lost against Herrera and Peterson and someone who is a PED's cheat...

Khan might not deserve it but it's never stopped Mayweather fighting so many of his opponents. Khan vs Mayweather makes a lot more sense than most purely for the money.

Khan vs Mayweather; khan gets 20% cut max

Khan vs Brook; Khan can get 60% cut

    Brook MAKE HIM MORE MONEY.

is it a proverb where you come from? your meaning hardly leapt off the page, and while i appreciate clarification, your response to a polite request hints at insecurity.

The hate is so strong that half the posters refuse to engage their brains. Of course Khan is avoiding the more dangerous fights to land Floyd. He chose Algieri cause he's known in the US after beating Prov and fighting Pac. I don't like what he's doing by whoring himself, but he's doing exactly what a lot of top boxers are doing too.

In the same vein, Brook seems to get a pass for fighting below par fighters cause he's a "nicer guy". If you think he's not trying to protect his 0 so that he can land a Floyd, Pac or Khan fight then you must be totally deluded yourselvse.

This is boxing FFS, they fight for money.
