    Yes the fight itself was astonishing to absorb. But listen to what Barrera said in the post fight interview.

    Larry Merchant: Will you consider retirement?

    Marco Antonio Barrera: I don't know, maybe.

    That's incredible. Manny's performance was so insane that he made a prime ATG fighter consider just flat out calling it quits. That same fighter would go on to have his greatest career performance after that loss against Morales in 2004.

    Merchant knew Barrera was past his prime, that's why he asked if he should retire. :deal

    The most important thing is Justin Fortune was his S&C coach.

    Cuz he knew he was past it....and he was not a prime fighter when pac beat him,, he was a burnt out shell of himself...and even he would tell u that, remember age aint nothing but a number:deal

    And i also assume you thought Vargas was a prime 29 when he fought Mayorga too,:patsch...if you even know who he is, rookie!

    Lol you're an idiot. Barrera was past his prime going in that 60 pro fights and Barrera didn't even train good because the fire in his camp and the steel plate in his head.

    I think Barrera had several better performances than the 3rd Morales fight. I don't even believe that was MAB's best performance against Morales, let alone his "greatest career performance".

    Morales was the best fighter Barrera ever beat by a wide margin. No disrespect to Hamed.

    And the 3rd fight was the most clear of the three fights in Barrera's favor.

    Anybody would kill to have 27 year old Ledwaba KO6 on their resume. He was the absolute man at 122 and Pacquiao was a 40 to 1 underdog.

    Of course they were unknown. Do you know how hard it is to get publicity below 126? It's almost impossible.

    Ledwaba was a consummate pro. An extremely good fighter.

    So theres really not much weight behind pacquaios win over ledwaba like you make it out to be, good win or not...

    Douglas was a far bigger name who pulled off the real upset as a 40-1 underdog, not Pacquaio..
