Surely they were both coming off world level opposition, i.e. Mayweather himself.

I'm probably being harsh on Brook but to me that resume isn't value for a shot at the P4P#1

If he chooses Brook then Khan will go around saying Mayweather is ducking him and it will make him all the more irritating. I hope Mayweather fights Khan and destroys him.

If it it's true Mayweather is seriously considering Khan and it gets out to the level it did last time then Khan has already succeeded. For if Floyd puts his name out there again and decides not to fight him again, Khan will have a legitimate Floyd ducked me case for casuals to eat up. Because of that, I think it's definitely Khan. Mayweather should know what will happen if he puts Khan name out there again and doesn't fight him, casuals and haters will make it fact years later that Floyd absolutely ducked him.

Yes. That's the guy they fought before him. Cheers on the tip :good I was struggling to remember the name and didn't feel like firing up the 'ol boxrec to check it out. That Mayweather guy is essentially the definition of a domestic level fighter, no? The kind of boxer who is far too good for the regional circuit so he steps up and is capable of winning a belt at the domestic level and maybe even making a handful of defenses (perhaps benefiting from one or two of those notorious "Italian Decisions" :hey). But if he tried to make the jump to continental level you just know he would be exposed and his lack of technical skill would be alarmingly apparent. And there's no shame in that! Even winning a regional title is nothing to scoff at, let alone a domestic one. People really need to get some perspective and stop calling these domestic level fighters "bums". These guys put their hearts and souls on the line for us and just because a guy like Mayweather doesn't have the chops to cut it at the continental or world level does not make him a "can" or a "bum". I repeat, DO NOT CALL MAYWEATHER A BUM!!! JUST DON'T DO IT ANY MORE!! I WILL NOT STAND FOR IT!!! HE IS NOT A BUM!!!

I'm stuck between longing to see Khan attempting to digest Brook getting a Mayweather fight instead of him and craving watching Khan getting schooled and shut up. Amir is probably the only man in boxing who could make me root for Floyd.

    Really, I win either way.

If Floyd chose Brook.... you know, I would probably actually buy the fight. Because it would actually be an interesting fight.

Not interested in paying $80 to see Khan KOed, theres already plenty of that on YouTube for free.

Khan is not particularly known either outside of boxing circles.

His TV ratings on freeTV are proof enough, he gets viewership... equal or less to other PBC shows.

I am not sure how it is in UK where I presume more people know him and there is a far higher rate of boxing fan per capita... but in the US marketing either one would be almost totally on a per-fight basis. That is, it would be based on how intriguing the match itself is made to look in TV commercials and sports TV/radio show spots hyping the fight.

The differential in pre-established US fan PPV interest between Khan and Brook is negligible.

Will find another level of respect for Floyd if he picks Brook.

    Champions should fight champions.

Khan has done nothing at welter.

GGG, Thurman and Brook are the best opponents. Khan doesn't even bring a major belt to the table. If it's all about the money, Floyd could fight Canelo again and still make more money.
