Mayweather supposedly deciding between Khan and Brook

I like Mayweather (and Pacquiao, had to throw that in) but if he chooses Khan over anybody I will turn on him.

Nothing to do with Brook, I'd rather see Mayweather fight JMM again because Khan is simply undeserving and not a top WW.

If Mayweather chooses to fight Khan he will deserve all the abuse he gets.

 

So would I, Brook is big, strong and undefeated, regardless of who he has fought.

Khan is fragile and has been beaten a few times.

Mayweather will deserve all the hammer he will get if he fights Khan, I can say 100% I will not buy a Mayweather Vs Khan fight, I will not line the pockets of either if they try and serve up this ****.

 

We've all grown accustomed to Floyd's modus operandi by now.

He will fight a guy with good ring IQ but little speed (like Kell Brook), and he will fight a guy with good speed but little ring IQ (like Amir Khan), but he will never fight a guy with both speed and ring IQ (like Keith Thurman or Erislandy Lara).

 

That would be the most reasonable thing for Mayweather to suggest but like you say Khan will have none of it.

 

Between these two cherrypicks, Brook would be the much less disgraceful no doubt

 

If he chose Brook, imagine how much **** talk there'd be about him ducking Khan.

 

In your eyes he's in a lose-lose situation.

Nobody wants to see him fight Lara and it wouldn't sell a 100,000. Thurman is fighting Collazo soon, he is not in the running and people would say he's greener than Canelo was.

 

Brooks resume is awful. The only decent name on there is porter and even he is overhyped. What had porter done he beat devon alexander and stopped malinaggi. So did khan and he has no power at all. Brook has the worst resume in the WW division and he would be the easiest fight mayweather has had in the last 5 years. Hes far too easy to hit and far too static for mayweather. Mayweather needs to fight someone who moves alot and runs like khan and does the pitter patter punches which score points.

 

Boxing faithful seem to think that your resume determines how good you are. I think its fair to say that despite his resume people still know that kell brook is in the top 3 of welterweights in the world.

Brook is an unknown in US. They just cannot sell the fight. Brook's back to back title defense against two tomato cans clearly puts him in the 'deserving' front line.

 

Kell Brook all the way.
