It's obvious Haymon and showtime are trying their hardest to make Wilder a star but it's just not sticking. This guy doesn't have the "it" factor or the ability. Nice guy but most observers feel an air of fraud around him. Nothing can change that.
In his home state that is boxing starved. I would hope he could sell that out. Wlad sells out 60k plus everytime he fights in Germany not even his home country. Wilder hasn't been a champ that long but don't p*ss on my leg and tell me it's raining. Selling out a small venue in bama is no big deal.
Wow I didn't know his hand injury was that severe, and he fought through it!!! :admin The dude's a real warrior
"You're not a true champion until you succesfully defend it" whoever said this, should've added "against someone worthy" to the end of it.
Yes. Read here: http://espn.go.com/boxing/story/_/id/12195616/bermane-stiverne-released-las-vegas-hospital
In Alabama where there is no pro sports franchise of any kind and nothing else to do. His fight in Vegas with Stiverne was a totally papered house. He isn't a draw at all.
