    I don't see a problem with it. Brook is just trying to protect his British glass jaw, nothing new really. I'd do the same if I were Brook. Rios hits extremely hard and is gonna be landing leather all night.

    I dont' think Rios will be landing much

    I like Rios but I doubt he will have much success against Brook

    Thats why I used to think Rios would do well

    But Rios slow so I think Brook will just beat him up at range and win a fight like that

    Some Brook fans out there will be making a hypocrite of themselves based on their opinion of other similar events...

    'Tis the advantage of being the A-side. If it's going to be an excuse for losing, then Rios needs to not sign the contract. Simple as that.

    Garcia said Brook's side doesn't want them to use Everlast MX gloves. There are other puncher's gloves out there. Everlast in general is a puncher's glove, you also have Reyes and Grant makes a puncher's glove. Rios is in no position to get picky. He's lucky to be getting a title shot. The gloves won't be an issue.

    El Chino you're wrong again.

    Brook is NOT trying to dictate anything, the British Boxing Board of Control are banning those gloves, nothing to do with Hearn, Brook makng any demands.

    By the time Brook Vs Rios takes place (if it happens) those gloves will be banned in the UK.

    So the title of this thread is way off ... but what do you expect.

    im pretty sure it was because of all the cuts in the latest card at the 02 arena ,specifically Gradovich who lost his title because he was cut.....


    these threads are misleading,wearing these gloves is actually worse for Rios than it is for Brook ...if Brook wore them then Rios face would look like corned beef in 6 rounds
