I have never seen reviews from Wlad as glowing as the ones he's had for Joshua. That may be because he realizes he is less likely to have to face AJ before he retires than he is to face Wilder and he doesn't want to talk too glowingly about a likely opponent down the line and give him unnecessary ammunition to call for a fight. Imagin if Wlad had said the same things about Wilder as he said about Joshua and then after he beats Fury and Wilder beats Povetkin (just a hypothetical :yep) Wlad took another mando before attempting to unify against Wilder. It's not hard to imagine Wilder saying something like "Why is he fighting Glazkov instead of me if I'm the future of the division??"

As for Parker, the reviews I did see were mainly awe at his power but nothing that suggested he saw him as the future of the division.

Actually he did say that. At another time he also said that Deontay Wilder, Anthony Joshua and Joseph Parker are the future of the division - in roughly those words from memory, I can track down the clip.

 

That's really weird considering Lennox had a really similar fighting style with Wlad.

Joshua has fought nothing but stiffs and he has a Glass Jaw he will make it about as far as David Price did.
