    Miguel is just flat-out making a mockery of the MW title now.

    It's the Middleweight title. 160lbs. Why does he need everyone else to come in at 154 (or thereabouts)? Miguel should be fighting at LMW if thats the case... Then to add insult to inury he states that Golovkin isn't worthy, yet Geale is, and Golovkin just laid Geale out HARD a few fights ago!

    I'm starting to really hate him now. Back in the day he was a warrior who had heart for days. Now? He is f*cking PETRIFIED of Golovkin, wants everyone to come in light and won't face the man that everyone wants to see him face.

    Just another fighter that, even though he had a fortune anyway, has decided to try and take it easy in the twilight of his career.

    Go out on your shield or call it a day.

    I cannot wait for Golovkin to cave his face in!

    Everyone does. It's not Cotto's fault that the MW division sucks and he's making GGG's resume look like an absolute joke. I think that's the main reason why people hating on Cotto. It's cool though.

    Explain how he is making it look like a joke when he is facing GGG's leftovers, yet claims GGG isn't worthy and Geale is?

    I don't think you realize that Cotto is a shot to ****, damaged goods WW whose prime was taken from him back in 2008 when Margarito viciously beat him with concrete.

    Since then, he's got beaten by a midget, beat up by Clottey in a fight he should of lost, almost got ko'd by Mayweather, and embarrassed by Trout in NY.

    The fact that this man captured the MW title and is about to beat one of GGG's top 2 opponents says a lot about the MW division and GGG's joke of a resume.

    He'd be making it look like a joke if he actually beat Golovkin.

    How is Geale more deserving that Gennady at this point?

    He's not.

    Geale is simply a tune up fight after a year lay off due to promotional disputes, that's it really. Cotto is half near retirement, once he beats Geale then he'll fight Canelo and retire.

    Meanwhile, GGG is stuck waiting for handouts and calling out midgets.

    Alvarez at 152 is his only catchweight bout.

    Floyd vs. Marquez was signed for 144 but changed to 147 before fight night. Just like how Golovkin vs. Rosado was at 158 but changed to 160 before fight night.

    So the answer to your question would be; "no, he has only fought one."

    Nobody, everybody in the division is scared of him. Which is why he needs to move up and conquer another division if he wants to become a great.

    Realistically at 33 years old, it'll be almost impossible to become at great in the current MW division. If he keeps fighting like this, he'll become the next Arthur Abraham. But at least Abe had the guts to move up a weight class and win a belt.

    This is a good point

    I don't like catchweights generally

    But how can a Pacquiao fan disparage Cotto when it comes to this?

    I like Cotto and Pacquiao, and while I don't like catchweights, I still give them credit for moving up and facing bigger guys
