Would be interesting to see Oscar vs Leonard at 170. I'd pay for that fight.

I think he should look into Ricky Hatton's attempt.

IF he does come back, it better be a one-off fight with Mosley or Trinidad or one of his other equally aged former rivals. No point in that, but even less point in anything else.

 

Dude still looks in phenomenal shape, I've no doubt with a year of training he could fight a D level guy and maybe pull out the win.

 

I was about to slate a DLH vs. RJJ match-up, but then quickly remember a few things and had to stfu.

RJJ vs. Tito happened. At light heavy.

Mayorga and Vargas (two contemporaries and rivals of DLH, career light middle and welterweights) fought...at like cruiser.

Popo Freitas emerged from several years of retirement, several weight classes north of where he left off, up there in age, yet still upset an unbeaten prospect.

DLH may not even be able to MAKE 175lb at this point even with a full camp!!!!

Oscar was in a lot of wars and has since abused his body with cocaine and booze. A comeback would be a disaster.

 

With the talk that Hopkins wants to fight DeGale, and Oscar wanting to come back, too, it leads me to believe that Golden Boy Promotions desperately needs a cash infusion.
