    My only question is why it took him a long time to turn pro. Hopefully they move him at a respectful pace without rushing, because we don't know how he'll adjust (or react) to professional boxing.

    He's a bit old, 27 or something is what the Wiki page says. Never heard of him before this thread, but they better start him fast.

    Beterbiev turned pro at 28 (now 30) and Usyk is 28 as well, its pretty much par for he course as far as EE guys go.

    Hopkins still achieved a lot before he turned 40 and he had no big time promoter to back him.
