GGG is unstoppable. I wish one of the other chumps/aka champs would step and fight him. This is getting so stale. The other MWs are afraid of him, although I suspect Lemeuix would have no issues fighting him.

    Kovalevs kos are much better.

Sillakh, Pascal, cleverly. He taunts em and then batters em.

    Good stuff

Didnt know that regarding the all time record

Its easy these days to cowardly cherrypick your way to records - Manny's "8 divisions" and Floyds soon to be 50-0

But GGG is desperate to fight the best

I hope he doesnt fight Froch in a way

If anyone deserves to be a record breaker in todays day and age, its Gennady

It was more the way he adjusted the shot while taking a flush punch that was massively impressive, not that he stood up to Gaele's punch. Great spatial awareness.

never went pro brother....Ivan gave me the best advise on the sport:

dont go pro...if you dont get a good mgmt they are going to through you to the lions and its going to hurt.

half of our team went on and they failed badly.

Jonathan Vidal was the only one to get a half a decent deal.

I love Kovalev and GGG...and Beterbiev too, for that matter..if it weren't for them, I wouldn't be following modern day boxing at all. Kov, GGG and to a lesser extent Beterbiev, are the real badasses of the sport.

In all the years that I've followed boxing, I've rarely ever seen a ko like this...GGG was tagged...and then IMMEDIATELY ended matters with his own bomb. Imagine doing that...it was spectacular!! Thank God that the fight was stopped...otherwise he would have killed a very decent man & fighter.

GGG reminds me of Sonny Liston of the 50's....and he's been avoided as much as Liston. I hope this **** ends soon. I hope Geale beats Cotto, because I believe that the Aussie will man up and rematch GGG...and that will be the end for him, unfortunately. Nevertheless, justice will be served.

Nah, Joe Louis, Roberto Duran, Jack Dempsey, George Foreman, Rocky Marciano, Sonny Liston, Carlos Zarate, Gerald McClellan, and Julian Jackson had some doozies.

There always has been condescendent chauvinistic attitude towards other nations around the Empire. Like GGG's mother laughed at the fact that GGG becomes popular in Russia and said that they made fun of GGG upon his rise and always considered him inferior to boxers from Russia (Gaydar Gaydarbekov and Dmitri Pirog). Mom also said many Russians now changed their tune as soon as GGG has become a star and try to claim him as theirs: in the past Russian TV laughed at the notion of televising GGG's early pro bouts.

I personally think there is a growing hate towards him among Russians as well.
