Amazing Alex Arthur. Lovely fella. Promoted from interim and never won a world title fight. Did beat Ricky Burns I suppose.

    Without a doubt Scogg Quigg

faught and beat a binman and then was given a title incase he could only draw against a cuban who was ko'ed by a journeyman

Nvr faught a live opponent before being given a paper title and then nvr faught a live opponent in the 2 years after

The only more farcical title rein in world boxing today is PEDerson IBF LWW title rein

    :good

Cook got his first shot against Steve Luevano after beating Harry Ramogoadi (18-5-2) and Luevano stopped him in the 11th.

His second shot against Alex Arthur after beating Kirkor Kirkorov (28-15-0) then beat Arthur on points.

As you said got stopped in 4 by Martinez in his first defence.

Then somehow got a shot at Burns by beating Youseef Al Hamidi (8-32-2)

And broke down with a back injury in the first round after about a minute.
