Eddie Hearn has an exclusive contract with Sky and Sky Box Office. Khan/Mayweather could be PPV if Matchroom let them have one of the PPV dates I think...

Doubt this would be good numbers in the UK anyway. He clearly doesn't care much for the UK fans with the way he dismisses any fight with Kell and talks about some fighters in America which people aren't that interested in. Most people in the UK think Brooks better than Khan anyway.

Would still do a decent amount of buys though just because it's Mayweather and his last fight (or one of his last fights anyway).

Stop watching boxing man. Nobody knows Continental Brook outside England/Europe. Nobody. Mainly because he's only fought nobodies. Khan is "widely known" as better by default because nobody knows who Brook is.

I didn't suggest Brook vs Mayweather would produce a bigger PPV, I'd prefer Brook as the opponent because he's the best British WW. He owns a major belt Khan doesn't, Khan ducks him for years, he's undefeated. It's only natural Khan is rated behind Brook at this point. Save your ignorant laughters for Khan's excuse threads as to why he won't fight Brook.

Brook is the UK's number 1 WW at this moment in time.

Like anybody at WW can do any better. Unless floyd takes the manny cotto canelo rematches or moves up to fight ggg ain't no cracking 1mil. Him vs Khan is the only fight that has the potential to do so.

I would say these numbers are realistic. Wouldn't be shocked with 700k either, honestly. Khan is nothing. There is no tease of a looming Pacquiao fight to draw that extra attention but perhaps that group gets replaced by people who had fun and enjoyed their May/Pac fight parties and order up again, who knows.

Confused and surprised about the whole matchroom exclusive PPV deal.

If khan fights Floyd I would have thought sky would be chasing that PPV revenue.

Seems strange that they would be prepared to lose the fight.

When the new matchroom deal with sky was announced there was no mention of sky box office exclusivity.

Eddie made sure to mention it in that press conference last week though when talking about khan.

Clearly said that amir can not fight on on sky PPV without him.

Pac-Rios and Pac-Algieri's ppv numbers COMBINED barely equal up to 800k. It's not a bad number for anyone. Showtime has already made their fortune with Mayweather-Pacquiao, so I fail to see the issue.

I'm not positive Cotto-Canelo touches 800k or beats it by very much. Neither are big draws in comparison to Floyd.

As far as the UK goes Khan vs Mayweather imo would be an easy sell. Like him or not Khan is one of the most famous athletes in the UK and a household name. That fight would be a big event. Whereas with someone like Kell Brook I could see it flying under the radar a bit since he's only known amongst boxing fans. It would do good numbers in the UK for sure.

How much will it cost? If it's above 70$, I probably won't buy. Still kinda mad Mayweather is picking him, but oh well. I'd prefer Brook but I get that it's all about the money and Khan is less of a PPV failure than Brook.

I suspect the PPV to be 80$.

Much of it doesn't actually happen
