Very true.:huh And to think...... GGG has given mad props to the N American ppl of every race. He says he loves the ppl from the East Coast. He loves the ppl from the West Coast. He loves the mexican culture and their style of fighting. He loves America. Yet.....some ppl just can't get on board with him. B/C he's an IDOL CRUSHER. Kindof like how the entire world views the Jews prior to Christ's coming. They had the ONE and ONLY God, and he destroyed all the false gods(fallen angels) who preceded him in man's heart.
Ffs, didn't Martin Murray just go 11 rounds with Golovkin? Of course Hagler would go 12 with Golovkin, but could Golovkin go 15 with Hagler?
Who knows, I hate trying to compare retired fighters to active fighters because its pretty much impossible to be objective - 99.999% of people I have seen discuss it have an ingrained bias towards either legacy or newer fighters. What I do know, is that if GGG was active during Hagler's era, he would have been in some great fights ... win or lose would have been worth watching.
