Didn't the NBC comentators just say Guerrero needs to do something big to win this fight? And then Farhoods scores come up, didn't they synchronize at all in there

Guerrero hasn't done anything of note at 147 really. Beating Berto doesn't impress me as I've never rated him at all.

    Round 9

Guerrero is dancing around Martinez, sprinkling in the right jab and trotting away to avoid the body combos Martinez tries bowling in, launching himself in full-bore in a compact shell, weaponizing his body into a wrecking ball with his shoulder jutting out. Guerrero is turning Martinez expertly and painting his face with pesky but harmless right jabs. Guerrero just scoring and moving. Martinez just following.

    10-9 Guerrero

    85-85

In each of the last four rounds, Martinez has actually landed some decent individual shots on Guerrero, he's just having long spurts of being made to look foolish. He may have used himself up in the 1st half.

After the knockdown, Martinez realized that wasn't supposed to happen and let Ghost come back for the win. Split decision, I'm guessing...

Honestly, it was a close fight, but can't see Martinez ever getting the win in this spot.

I wonder if a rematch would go any differently. Martinez gassed during the second half but Guerrero started really slow.
Good fight, Guerrero proves that he is must watch TV.

Ghost needs to drop down a weight class.
