    Absolutely. I'm by no means looking to lay blame. Just pointing out that the win and the money played very little to no part in the motivation for that particular fight.

    Exactly the point I was trying to convey to our friend who, earlier in this thread failed to understand such things have happened in boxing.

    Ruby Goldstein had a total brain fade and it's hard not to lay at least some of the blame for Paret's death at Goldstein's inability to officiate correctly and responsibly on the night.
