Let's just give Miguel some credit for doing what he was supposed to do and looked great along the way? Geale is not GGG but we already knew that but the performance and delivery was tremendous. Its what you want to see from a marquee name like Cotto.

I don't know, man. I just didn't follow any of that, didn't watch the weigh-in, didn't mind all the hoopla.

I didn't see a drained fighter in there, myself. I may have lacked some of the context, but on the flip side of that some of that build-up context might have created some preconceived notions for some of y'all. Maybe some of you were looking to see a drained fighter in there.

I certainly don't have a "be happy for Cotto's middleweight victories at whatever disingenuous cost" attitude. If you look back at the Rodriguez & Martinez stoppages, I was first to say they were impressive showings but kinda bunk given the circumstances.

Geale is a made to order Cotto pedestal to greater things. Yeah we all that. Nevertheless, he agreed to be a pit stop and played his part. You clearly don't understand the boxing businesses.. NEXT

If a Cotto KO was so predictable why did you pick Geale to beat him? Stop being such a sore loser and give Cotto some credit here.

That put you in the minority.

The forum ate this fight up and if we label a "big fight" by the discussion it generates, this will be one of the biggest fights of 2015.

As for your last two sentences I kept quoted, unfortunately it is the opposite for most.

lol, if you only had the ability to stand outside your own shoes and look at yourself from the outside to see how ridiculous you're looking right now...you'd be cracking like up me, you're missing out, lol.

**** the catchweight.. Cotto is just another level higher than Geale.. no matter what weight.. we knew that coming in... Geale fans were just hoping that the sorta shot Cotto was going to be very shot come fight night. He wasn't, and what happened was the inevitable.

Cotto is ****ing elite, been elite, and will be in the HOF. Geale just isn't that level.

Catchweight, head butted and out classed:thumbsup
Geale never had a chance IMO:deal

That headbutt was FKN brutal however Cotto quickly threw punches and it blended so well the ref had no clue:-(

Even had the butt not taken place Gelae was on his way out in rd 2 as his legs were SHOT

Cotto is like living a real life ROCKY story right now but Canelo is right around the bend:hey

    Great job to COTTO:smooch

I said the same thing after the Martinez match I'm not buying any of this, Cotto is on something. I'm not backing down on that, that's one of the main reason I dislike him as much as I do currently. He was covered in backne in the lead up to the Martinez match, its obviously somethings going on other than just "Freddie's a great coach".

I understand very well. Cotto aka the lineal MW champion aka The Cripple Crusher aka The Gammy Knee Assassin aka The Catchweight Creep is running scared from Golovkin and defending his MW crown against healthy MWs. :patsch

I have to agree with you there. CST80 can sometimes be overly irrational if his guy doesn't win.

Just as ridiculous as all of the Cotto fans who actually believe Cotto is clean when he couldn't hurt Trout or Margarito in the second fight with anything he threw.
