If Cotto is shot, it's scary to think how good he was in his prime

Martinez was clearly past his best and he still knocked out Barker.

Of course it does, are you re****ed? You saw what happened to Guerrero tonight after getting beat up by Thurman. Now imagine getting hit with bricks instead of natural power.

Not everybody who takes a savage beating becomes shot immediately after. Cotto is proof. He took two savage beatings and came back.

NOT EVERYBODY BECOMES SHOT A BEATDOWN.

Cotto in his prime was going life or death with Joshua Clottey, taking knees vs Margarito, fighting an even fight with a shot Shane Mosley and getting beat down and running away from a former featherweight in Pacman. Wow so good....

Terry Norris took a savage punch from the hardest puncher of all time. He didn't miss a beat.

Hearns was stopped brutally and came back.

    Everybody is different.

This is definitely part of it

    No question about it

But Cotto has gotten back some of what he lost

You're an idiot, he was getting hit with BRICKS for more than 10 rounds. That's like Bolt getting his legs bashed in with a baseball bat during a race, yet having enough in the tank to go on and continue his career. Cotto is a true warrior and veteran, we must all respect him for going on despite his disadvantages.

The average man would of quit boxing if they got cheated the way Cotto did.

Cotto isn't an average man. He's not shot.

Geale isn't very good and they still got him to drain well below the limit.

I agree, and Cotto's not even a big jr. Middleweight. Honestly im impressed, I thought Geale was gonna win this.

Cotto hasn't beaten anyone good since he lost to Margarito, and he's lost to Trout and arguably Clottey.

He's always been a solid fighter just below the top tier guys. He's slipped some and has downgraded his opponents to compensate.
