    Joe Louis

But flippancy aside at 160 or under I think it is very unlikely anyone could.

Maybe Julian Jackson? Gerald McClellan? Nigen Benn?

You should never say never, but as a general rule of boxing a granite chin tends to be able to cope with even the biggest of punchers at their weight.

Anyone, even Hagler, can be knocked out by the right punch at the right time. It's a testament to his skill, as well as his chin that he was never stopped.

I think Hagler would be too skilled for the three guys I just listed.

Yes, I agree. I think Hagler was wise to have stayed in the middleweight division, as I believe that Michael Spinks was very capable of ko'ing, (as in putting him on the deck) Hagler....and Marvin knew it. It's the same reasoning that kept Monzon from going to lightheavy. Marvin and Carlos were very wise in that regard.

    Simply because Spinks was bigger?

True, to an extent. But remember! ANYBODY can be knocked out.

G-Man, Jackson and perhaps RJJ (solely based on speed) could perhaps do the job.

But Marvin's chin is the stuff of legends, literally.

No, of course not....he was a devastating puncher who had a right hand comparable to Bob Foster's left. He could ko just about any lightheavy, so it stands to reason he could do the same to any middleweight...even a great middle with a great chin.

I know that Spinks didn't ko Qawi, but that's because he committed himself to that particularly smart boxer's style he used to win the fight. I think that in a rematch he could very well had done as Holyfield did and slipped a ko on Dwight Qawi.

Well, Spinks being bigger would be a factor.

Maybe a 210-220 heavyweight , i suppose any man hit hard enough can be KO'D by someone 50 lbs heavier:huh..

I can't see any 160 guy doing it, maybe a World Champion martial artist, but who knows? the guy's chin was unreal..

Robinson most likely with something stellar such as the hook he hit Fullmer with, or a fast hard combo, I think a good combination would be more likely to do it than one big punch.
