Peter Fury seems to know his business too. I think Shane McGuigan will be seen to be very good once his stable expands, he's not arrogant and sees the value in a scientific approach to training instead of this archaic notion of "old school" boxing training such as ridiculous long runs and ignoring weights.
Fury knows his stuff for sure Pioneer. Not generally a fan of family training relatives. He has done well as did Enzo with JC natural talent will find it's own level domestic and beyond. If i was guiding a fighter i would look for a trainer with a stable of quality not quantity.
Has to be booth for me. His record with haye is pretty good. Groves not the same fighter since he left. And andy Lee has become world level since he joined.
I disagree with you there, certain fighters come to the pros there technique is shocking who corrects that? The trainer because they have the knowledge, all trainers learn off there fighters also and can try and adapt certain things to other fighters
The trainer that can bring any fighter on even by a few % can often make a real difference on how that career will pan out,any level of fighter domestic and above. The trust between both and also agreeing on a game plan that fits a fighters style and adjusting where needed paramount.
Never understood why Nathan Clev didn't give booth a chance, instead of this pudding he has training him now! I'm from Wales myself and I know London is a different world to what it is here but you'd have to be an idiot to turn him down !
All round in terms of what i see in his gym videos and and knowledge of both Nutrition and Stregnth work , Shane Mcguigan looks streets ahead of all imo and could be a future great
