GGG is Cotto's mandatory. Whether the WBC will actually enforce this on a star fighter remains to be seen.

Great job Rummy. That was entertaining. Cotto's long pause was comical for sure.
Here's hoping Froch takes the GGG challenge that nobody wants.

Yeah, it's a shame because he is perfectly suited for the weight.

I hadn't really considered that, but it's possible, I guess. I always imagined Canelo beating Cotto myself, but after last night, Cotto's performance at least gave me reason to pause and reevaluate. But even if he did win convincingly, I'm still not seeing a likely clash between him and Golovkin, especially since I suspect by then GGG might be slightly damaged goods at 168.

They're not going to enforce it for as long as Cotto or Canelo hold the title, for as long as potential match-ups with Floyd might exist. But this is nothing new and should come as no surprise.

I still can't believe he did that!

Did he think he'd get through the interview without being asked that obvious post fight question?

If he does get past Canelo (which is doubtful), then I think he will fight GGG.

Great vid. I don't think it's all that baffling that Cotto would feel caught off guard by a Golovkin question. It is well known by all that Cotto Canelo is next, and we all know Cotto only thinks about the next fight. Yeah three G Froch would be absolutely great if comes together, again, another great vid and keep em coming...oh, and don't think I didn't notice you rocking the O.G. Kangol, you funky fresh mutha you...

If he gets by Canelo (which I agree is questionable), then he will probably angle for a rematch with Floyd. At least that would be the move that makes the most sense.

Actually, in my mind, Cotto's best route would be to pursue the Floyd rematch first, because when he most likely loses to Floyd again, the Canelo fight will still be there for him.

Thanks for watching, appreciate the support. And yeah, Froch-GGG is about as good as it gets if that comes together. Although I'm still baffled Cotto was seemingly caught off guard. He did know that Golovkin was in attendance, no? I mean, his people should have maybe prepped him a bit better for that inevitability.
