The Martinez excuses are valid ones though. If Geale loses, being weight drained is also a valid excuse. It's like being late for work because someone stole your car; you're still late, but with a valid excuse.

Geales has no chin and no power and no heart. He will quit against the small Cotto.

Daniel Geale starved his way down to 157 pounds. No other way to describe it. In the final 24 hours he had no food whatsoever. If that isn't weight drained no such f*cking thing exists!

Geale spent the final 36 hours before weigh in taking hot baths with epsom salts, chewing gum, very limited food and sips of water. It's a wonder he didn't pass out on the scales.

F*cking ridiculous a career middleweight should have to starve himself down to 157 pounds to contest the 160 pound limit middleweight title.

How Geale will come up 24 hours after a preparation like that is anyone's guess?

Well, Geale was game, but there are levels to this. Cotto is just too good of a fighter. He toyed with Geale. The catchweight was absolutely pointless. Cotto beats ANY version of Geale.

Gaele boxed extremely poorly. He was feigning and attempting at a peek-a-boo from far away, where he could not be reached. once he got close, he covered up in the most pathetic looking shell, and basically took whatever Cotto threw at him. It was evident he was burnt out and emotionally unable to cope with the pressure, he looked like a beat man long before the bell rang.
