Been here since 2007 yet still clueless?

You do know that ODLH was set to rematch Floyd at 147 right? That's why his last fight was at 150 vs Steve Forbes because he was working his way down to 147, why do you think he fought Forbes at 147? However Floyd retired, and Pac who was 130lbs in same year jumped up to 147 to meet the challenge.

You and your revisionist history :patsch

Nope, catchweights are worse. They are meant to help a fighter avoid losing, or gaining, the necessary pounds to fight at a certain division.

The DLH fight was at the full WW, so there was no binding of the rules to meet any criteria. DLH had to meet the WW limit just like any other boxer, no special exceptions in this case. If he was "drained" well then that sounds like a personal problem, not a boxing one.

Golovkin fought Geale at 160, Golovkin weighed in at 159, Geale at 160, Cotto made Geale fight for the 160 lb. title at 157, too afraid to fight him at 160.........................

Pac haters keep on stressing that Oscar was drained in that fight but fail to mention that Pac had to go up 2 weight divisions. Oscar went down one division and imposed the terms since he was the A-side. Was Pac supposed to fight him by going up three div? I remember people saying back then that it was a mismatch in favor of Oscar because he was so big:patsch

It was Oscar's overall inactivity since 2005 not the weight. Manny would have beat a 154 Oscar. And since when was Oscar a natural middleweight? He lost all his few fights at 160.

Roach is a legendary match maker and finds subtle ways of getting advantage for his fighters or fighting opponents at the right time. The only dude that outsmarted him clearly in that regard was Floyd who fought Pac at the perfect moment.
