I love Cunningham but we know he struggles with size.

Helenius, if healthy, is better than Fury.

 

Stiverne was never a top 20 HW either. He became champ by defeating Arreola, FFS. (and Arreola of all people was able to outbox him for long stretches on both occasions - up on my card as of the stoppage in the rematch, in fact - before his face got busted up)

 

Helenius will never get a decent fight without backing, and that he most definately does not have. He won't even be brought in as an opponent unless he stops training and gains 30 kgs. Or can he go the Shannon Briggs route?

 

If you thinks so....Can,t understand why Wilder doesn,t get more support from the US fans.

 

You mean blind non-objective support? Because nobody really deserves that.

If he were to start knocking out legitimate opposition and establish himself as the heavyweight king, I'd be stoked. Both for having a fellow American in that role for the first time since the days of Tyson & Holy, and because Wilder actually has a great back story and seems like a nice guy.

I'm still going to be objective, though. Stiverne was a Don King manufactured paper titlist and C+/B- level heavyweight, and beating Arreola for the vacant WBC title is a joke.

...and that's Wilder's best win.

 

Fury sparks Helenius easily. We're talking about prime Helenius who lost to Del Boy Chisora. The same Chisora Fury schooled twice. Fury TKO7 Helenius

 

He already is, cause a guy named Tyson Fury would never fight him and that says a lot... he would blast Fury out within 6 :deal

 

Sparks? When did you ever see Robbe hurt?

 

Sherman Williams did get Robert staggered with his trademark punch. But that is the only occasion Robert ever has been hurt in a professional fight. Chisora put a lot of pressure to Helenius, but was never able to hit him clean or hurt him. Chisora did same to Vitali Klitschko...

 

He will never amount to any of the relevance that for some reason many of you think he will. Chisora literally 120-108'd him to put the nail in the coffin. I just don't see him ever beating a top 10 HW or being ranked as a rightful top 10 HW again.

I'm far from a Wilder fan. I seldom say much in his defense even when I see him being discredited perhaps a tad too much... But is his wide victory over Stiverne not a better single win than whatever Helenius had done years ago now? People act like Helenius ever did much of real relevance beyond the usual critiqued HW's out there at the moment. His resume, even pre-Chisora embarrassment, was no better and probably worse than all the guys currently being cited as having accomplished nothing despite a high ranking at HW.

 

Chisora lost the fight and Robert was not able to use his right hand for 11 rounds of that fight properly. I was watching the fight live in the arena and while Chisora made good effort he did not land much. He mostly hit the guard while Robert decided the fight in the early rounds.

Robert in his present condition would give 12 round fight for any of Klitschko/Wilder/Fury. Not saying he would be winning any of those fights, but at least Wilder would be in serious trouble once he tastes that straight right or hook to the body. Fury would also be in trouble with that hook to the body. Wlad I don't think Robert can handle even in the mature age Wlad already is.

Nordic Nightmare should head to States and show his skills there in a couple of tune up matches for year or 2 with someone like Kathy Duva promoting (should that be possible) and step against Wilder once Wlad resigned.

 

I think a rematch between him and Chisora would answer a lot of questions about both guys.

 

I hope this guy can come back - this guy made some serious noise before it all went down hill.
