Lots of top quality trainers in the UK, some have a good few years and disappear of the radar others do not, the Ingles, Peter Harrison, Graham Everett, Jimmy Tibbs spring to mind. So for consistency they must all be up there. A great coach can make a difference. Great example, look as Curtis Woodhouse v Willie Limond last year Peter Harrison used his know how and tactical experience and toyed with Ryan Rhodes tactics and I believe that was the major difference in that fight.

That's a fair point, mine was mainly aimed at a coach not being able to turn an average fighter into a world star. The talent has to be in the fighter to start with to give the coach something to work with. But then you obviously have a lot more experience than I do on the matter.

Arnies gym seems to be really on the up at the moment with 3 lads traveling from Elsmereport everyday, an Irish lad has moved to manchester to train with him, a former euro junior champion in issac McLeod travels from Sunderland to be at Arnies gym, can't be to bad Also Shane and Arnie have produced world champions in there gym, Which Arnie trained from his first day as a pro.:good
I partly agree, to me Freddy Roach fits into that statement, he's good at fine tuning elite level fighters, but he neglects defense and doesn't take fighters from the Amateurs.
