give me your thoughts on probably the next ATG of this era. i think brook is one of those fighters who don't lose until they get old or move up weight. he has one of those "sweet as sugar" styles that's almost unbeatable. he's good at distance control, and he's very hard to hit cleanly and people keep forgetting that. the guy is slick with power and i think we just found another ATG in the making.
He needs to step up considerably. They've been milking him for quite a long time now. The Jo-Jo Dan's of the world just ain't doing it for me.
Great looking fighter but his resume is weak as hell...needs to fight a few more credible welters before I male judgement on. Any decent fighter looks great against trash cans
I've been highly critical of him in the past (especially the 1st Jones fight), but the skillset is all there. He's ready for the big leagues.
Jo Jo Dan was awful yes but it was his mandatory? People go on like brook picked him to be his mandatory but he never dan got himself into that position
What about Frankie Gavin then? He wasn't a mandatory. Stop making excuses brooks fought 98% tomato cans n fook Khan theres other fighters out there other than him.

JoJo, Gavin and Rios are not opponents for a 29 year old champion who as you say "Is the next ATG" None are top 10 Welters. Chasing Khan too much eh & Khan fell lucky in that his cherry picked opponent Algieri is actually better then Brook's opponents this year Brook is world level and a top fighter no question but like the rest of 147 they need to start fighting the real competition. Thurman, Khan, Brook & Bradley - wtf are they all doing. :tired
He's definitely beatable. He's not even close to future ATG level yet, but there are fights out there for him which are winnable, which would certainly set him on that path. Thurman, Khan, Bradley, Garcia.
