Because he picked the only one who had no chance of hurting him and still drained him to the point of near catatonia.

    GGG is 5'10, murray is 6'0 1/2 - 6'1

Murray lasted 11 rounds of GGG blasting him in the face, you think cottos little slap hook is gonna put a dent in him?:lol::lol:

Martin gets outboxed on every level…not sure why the OP doesn't take the time to break down traits that justify his opinion. I don't see anything Martin has/does that Cotto can't do significantly better. Martin may naturally be more durable however that just means he receives a long drawn-out beating. Not sure Murray is fluid enough to stop Cotto though he's certainly physically able to, the problem lies within his ability to position himself to do so. Cotto would create angles where he rips the body and nullifies Martins leverage on the inside.

I understand their are plenty of fans that dislike Miguel for reasons that are well accounted for though in my opinion unjust when compared to todays boxing landscape. What truly bothers me is the lack of judgement and ignorance that is been breeding on here. Martin Murray's only advantages lie with his particular genetic make up he's clearly levels below Cotto's pedigree.

It is what it is though the love for triple G has flowed over to hate for Cotto who has done mounds more than Gennady and I can't blame his fans for wanting the accolades by getting the other champ in the ring, I also can't blame the Cotto followers for accepting his current state of stagnation knowing the risk/reward factors of such a fight. Cotto going after Canelo next is wicked smart and highly desirable. I don't doubt Cotto will go ahead and face GGG and when he does he will likely be overwhelmed and stopped but the insults he's been receiving are completely unjustified. The sweet irony in all this is the folks begging for the middleweight showdown will be the same folks slandering and ridiculing Cotto for being worthless and unworthy yet they will bleed from the mouths if and when he defeats Cotto as a legit with against a real star and future HOF/ATG thus cementing GGG as just as great. Hilarious...

Murray is much better than Geale and the version of Martinez he fought(and arguably beat) while obviously shot I still think was more than capable of beating Cotto. I think he manhandles Cotto to a comfortable points win, stoppage unlikely but not impossible.

Manhandles? How does he get get within range without eating heavy ****nal in return? Martin isn't an superb brawler and his finishing skills have never been exceptional his greatest trait surrounds his ability to absorb punishment and find success with counterpunching an aggressive face first athlete Cotto could outbox the man if he chose to leaving Murray limited to finding a big fight changing counter punch. Please breakdown what Murray would or has done that adds any legitimacy to your predictionÂ….:rasta
