how hard do female boxers punch?

    What would be the equivalent punching power between female and male boxers. As a guess, a 147lb female boxer punches with the same power as a 112lb male boxer?

    It's funny I actually had you in mind when thinking about members of the forum.

    Nope, been in several fights against MEN in the ring and out, 100's of rounds of sparring was never down. I don't claim to be a good boxer, but I do have a CHIN.

    I'm willing to bet you've never been in the ring. :deal

    my observation is that female boxers have much slower hands and that in itself should greatly reduce the potential power but weight is weight.

    They don't all punch with the same power obviously. Anne Wolfe punched very hard... Harder than any other woman I've ever seen.

    Look at the fighters you support:

    Andre Dirrell (Glass)
    Adonis Stevenson (Glass)
    Deontay Wilder (Glass)
    Adrien Broner (Glass)
    FMJ (Glass, his defense just takes chin out of the equation)

    hmmm.... It seems like their is a pattern... Perhaps you support these men because you see yourself in them?
