What makes you so sure the coke and pepsi bottle with caps on are exactly the same height? The caps are different if you look. And the bottles have different shapes

Now if you take a look at the pepsi on the right and the diet pepsi behind it there are almost identical. Maybe the first one is a fraction bigger. That's it.

I am not saying the vanishing point does not make a difference at a great distance. It does. But at inches on objects near the same hight, its a different story. If Johnson was 2" taller, he'd still look taller 3-6" behind someone 2" shorter.
