I would love to see Ali try to rope-a-dope Marciano. Marciano would work on his gut until Ali was carried off on a stretcher.
I think that Ali Marciano is a 50/50 type fight. Is Marciano as great as Ali? No, he was not. The bottom line is that styles make fights, and Marciano might just be Ali's worst nightmare!
He likely didn't hit as hard as Foreman, but he could keep it up for 15 rounds, which might be crucial. He probably hit harder than Frazier.

Frazier was a one-handed puncher, he used his right but it was a converted jab, Marciano could KO a man with either hand and is underrated in the speed dept. HE DID LOAD UP with 2 hands more and his feet like Frazier's were always pressing forward both men had SUPER heavyweight LEGS...catchers legs and a lot of power came from them....I think it was the pressure that bothered Ali the most and Ali could only run so much...even the pre-exile Ali got hit an awful lot to the body by Chuvalo when he stopped to rest on the ropes...Marciano would work that body and arms. Tough fight for Ali

Ali will not best Marciano laying on the ropes. Not going to happen. He wil get eaten alive. Marciano had too much power too high a work rate ..he would pile up the points and decision Ali if Ali moves he wins Chuvalo would have been used as a punching bag against Marciano like what frazier did to him Marciano and Frazier are very similar. Frazier was faster but Marciano had better two fisted power and the better chin
