    MORALES fought three fights against Barrera at his best. He won one of them.

    He fought three fights with Pacquiao at his best. Well Mannys best weight was 126 and the fight was at 130 but the 4 pounds are probably irrlevent since Morales was best at 126 too and it's just 4 pounds.

    MAB was a great win. MAB was a tremendous technician. Best body puncher of the era and had a run during the early 2000s and mid 2000s where he displayed greatness.

    Pacquiao was the fighter of the decade. He's a great fighter. Only Morales beat a peak Pacquiao.

    MORALES' top two wins will stack up favorably to almost anything in history.

    H2H at 130, Floyd would have beaten Morales. Morales was hittable. That's not a good match-up with a fighter as accurate as Floyd.

    You have already given these opinions... I want you to support your claim that Morales is greater than Floyd based on resume. You have chosen to directly compare victories and are only discussing such a small fraction of their careers.

    I'm curious to how their top 10 victories (and even top 20, if you would so challenge yourself) stack up in your opinion. Lets see them in same direct comparison form as you did with the above 2 fights.

A true great fighter can handle multiple styles. Anyone can trade punches and be entertaining and earn moral victories a al Chris Algeri. Morales was entertaining but his shelf life was so short because he wasn't that good. Another thing is he's taller than Floyd. Why didn't he move up to fight guys his size. He would've been exposed way earlier if he did. Just another moral victor. HOF at best.

    People who make blanket statements for boxers who have tested positive for PED's apply those same opinions to Morales... unless they're a hypocrite, of course. I've heard many people say they give Roy Jones Jr. no respect on the level of greatness because of the PED test, which would also apply to Morales. Kind of a shame as Morales was one of the most beloved fighter out there.

    It hurts people to realize Floyd isn't levels above other great fighters like Morales & Pacquiao...


    They seem to think he ranks many places higher...when really he doesn't and it can't be argued...
