...back to officiate Lemieux-N'Dam. And N'Dam's team is pretty p|ssed off about it.

BScene: "The selection of two officials from the same city as one of the fighters in an international world championship indicates a flawed and unfair procedure and undermines the appearance of fairness and impartiality."

He's lucky N'Dam isn't fighting Ward in Cali, where he'd have to be concerned with 4 officials, not 2.

Thoughts on The Great Marlon working the fight? :hey

Horrible ref should never be allowee to work fights again. What's so funny about it is that he still gets high profile fights in Canada.

    Define high profile?

The only big fight I think he reffed in the last couple of years is Kovalev-Sillakh... Beterbiev-Campillo doesn't qualify as high profile.

The horrible ref reputation really lies with about 30 seconds of his career... what if he just had a bad night back then?

Good, I was wondering where was Marlon when we need him.

    Let's go Lemieux!

Funny thing, if Lemieux lands flush on his chin, N'Dam really could need a 30 second count that night !

i dont see ndam needing the judges anyways, ref wont make a difference either, ndam just needs a good doctor, i dont see him finnishing this fight on his feet, ya he is a slickster, but so was guererro, and so was rosado, all 3 those guys move alotand like to box rather than brawl, this fight will be no different, lemieux by ko....

rubio beat lemieux clean with a nice counter punch and rocked him, alcone caught lemieux at a bad transition time in his life and got lucky, lemieux if he had of used his head rather than just try and ko alcine, he could have won that on points

i dont see ndam making it as far as rosado did.....ndam vs rosado would be a much more competitive fight

he'd be worse off fighting Floyd in Vegas he have Floyd Vegas/Nsac & all 4 officials to contend with.
Marlon is on a parr with Joe Cortez, Kenny Bayless etc Need I say more

Perhaps these Canadian judges and the "ref" Wright are competent officials-but it is the APPEARANCE of partiality that makes it obvious they should use neutral judges and ref for this event.
I don't think it will matter as David will eventually trap the Dude and take him out any way.

Ndam is getting a job there. 50,000 fighting in the other guys hometown, with local ref and judges. Priceless. Plus, the fact that the promoter here is not GYM or Interbox, add to the possible robbery. Here is why. Golden Boy promotion is not tied with the Montreal market. GYM and Interbox made Montreal and Quebec city a respectable place to boxe over the years, without robbery, the only incident occuring many years ago (with Marlon Wright). GBP doesn't have to preserve Montreal's good image. They want return on their only investment here : David Lemieux.
