Dmytro Mytrofanov is a 5'7 25 year old Middleweight Amateur. Born in Chernigov, Ukraine. I'm changing my format just slightly to showcase some fighters who may be turning pro in the distant future or possibly after the 2016 Brazilian Olympics. These are ones to watch. Dmytro The 2012 Ukrainian National Champion is a dedicated pressure fighter, he comes to fight in a big way, he throws bombs non stop, he's dedicated to breaking the body down with a relentless barrage of body shots. He works behind his lead straight right quite well. He reminds me of a more intelligent and all around more skilled version of Gradovich or Provodnikov with a relentless workrate. He has a few losses on points, but he quite a lot of wins as well. If he turns pro and gets a proper trainer he has the potential to go far, but he definitely needs to tighten up that leaky defense of his. He also has quite a good chin since he took bombs from Derevyanchenko for 5 rounds in their WSB match. He's fought semi-pro for AIBA and WSB. So Check Out Dmytro The Ukrainian Bull In Action. :ggg:ggg:ggg:ggg

At 5'7" tall he's a bit short for the pro ranks. When was the last time a very good middle was 5'7" tall?

He does have the right style for his size though. He can cover up well, and slip / duck punches up close, but at mid distance and beyond his range he's going to have some issues.

Dervyanchenko has been doing quite well and he's quite short around 5'7 as well, and the current "Lineal Middleweight Champ" is a mere 5'6, he has a very fan friendly style and like I said with a proper trainer he has real potential, he looks like he has the ability to be even more versatile just someone needs to unlock his full potential.

25 is too old for a prospect. All our Murican prospects are under 15. The proper age for pro prospects not like these old a$$ Euro's.

That Brit Evans was only 13 when that fight happened and if not for Mytrofanov's constant fouling and a corrupt ref he would have come back and won because Mytrofanov was gassing bad.

There's even a video (quite a crappy one, though) of the fight.

He is indeed short for this weight division... And to be a "David Tua of the middleweight", Mytrofanov lacks power...

According to K2, he should be fighting Gino Kanters on the Usyk vs. Bellew undercard.

Nice. Him and a few others like Petr Khamukov, Artem Chebotarev, Ramil Ghadzhiev, were good amateurs but are under the radar as pros for some reason.
