    Yep

But he wasted a lot of his time and talent fighting people way way below him (like a lot of top boxers seem to do)

He has no right to moan that Froch has surpassed him in many ways

Calzaghe was a great offensive fighter with underrated but a very high ring IQ. His brittle hands prevented him from really sitting down on his punches. Calzaghe was a joy to watch in his prime and is the GOAT at 168 I hated that he retired when he did I always felt he had atleast 2 more fights left in him.

Good points for the most part. Top 100 fighter I will give him that. Also, prime SMW Jones Jr, Toney, Andre Ward are better than a Joe C.

Andre Ward:patsch On what basis, Calzaghe at least left his country (Wales), Ward never left his home town.... And who on Ward's resume is better than the fighters Calzaghe thought?

In certain parts of his game I do. Those were hand but more
foot speed, heart and mental toughness. Plus his ring
generalship and IQ were 2nd to none. His punching technique
was almost embarrasing at times, however. He's a deserved
1st ballot HOF'er but it ends there. No ATG.

Wrong ! Ward fought in Europe (super 6) and Carson Ca is not his hometown. Oakland Ca is...

Did I see greatest in him? Absolutely. Did he really test himself to prove it? Not at all. He was content to face Euro level fighters for far too long. Prime Calzaghe would have given anyone around his weight problems.
