Jamie McDonnell for me, he continually exceeds my expectation of him. Degale and Selby I have always felt were class.

Degale, McDonnell, Burns, Mitchell and Selby all contenders. AJ was very good but the level of comp is way down from the others. Wasn't impressed with Blackwell, credit for the win but he looked very poor for most of the fight, Brook and Khan didn't do anything that wasn't expected so they cant be considered either. I was most surprised by Burns who I thought did exceptionally well compared to how I thought it would go, but him and Mitchell didn't win so I will rule them out, and the only underdog from the remainders was McDonnell so I suppose he is the obvious choice.

While Selby had the most impressive victory, I expected him to win like that. I really do rate Selby but Gradovich was taylor made for him.

That is why I picked Kevin Mitchell, IMO he had the toughest fight of them all and to be honest I didn't fancy his chances. However I thought he stayed switched on and boxed superbly well against a real high class opponent. I was ringside and this was one of technically best fights I've ever seen live, between 2 evenly matched fighters. Mitchell was very unfortunate not to take the title but really stepped up and proved he is world class.

I went for Blackwell because he was the only under dog.

Mitchell. He went to the wire with a true top drawer operater.
Sebys performce was good but a pressure fighter who doesnt cut the ring off is hardly top drawer opponent.
    Mitchell for me

The guy had defended his world title 5 times i think and was a massive step up for Selby.

Jamie McDonnel, I thought he was full of sh it when he was talking about unifying the division but really he should be WBO/ IBF plus WBA mandatory, instead he is WBA "bull****". The WBO should let him fight for the vacant title.
