Floyd is entitled to his opinion, and heck he even admitted to only seeing one GGG fight.

Honestly I thought overall it was one of the more honest down to earth Floyd interviews, if he acted like that all the time and didnt beat the **** out of women he would probably actually be pretty popular.

Mexican fans are the most overrated entity in boxing. The truth is, they only mostly watch non-Mexican boxers when they're fighting Mexican boxers.

The idea that you need to win the hearts of Mexican fans in order to be big is the biggest lie repeated on the forum.

    Older white guy opinions here:

Yes, Ward should be the favorite- even if I have enjoyed watching Golovkin. He's bigger, with better all-around skills.

No, Floyd's comments about this do not make him a racist.

My Mexican fight fan friends, as a group, are very knowledgeable, and great, supportive fans- whether their guy is a Mexican fighter or not.

But Ward hasn't fought in two years and has had surgery. His last major fight was in 2012. I think people shouldn't be so quick to favor Ward with memories of the Froch fight from 4 years ago in their head.

He's only 31 though and he's a very smart fighter. When you can fight, you can fight. Mayweather took two long layoffs around that same age and still looked sharp when he came back. Vitali battled numerous injuries and was out 4 years and came back looking like he never left. Ward has fought since his surgery and looked good, so I don't see that being a problem.

How do we report cereal montony's blantant racist
rants to the MODS? Are the ESB MODS racists towards
whites too here? It seems like Al Sharpton and Michael
Eric Dyson are the MODs on this site.

You're in no position of accusing anyone of racism. Cereal montony is a great poster. One of the best on this forum.

GGG is my favorite fighter, but Floyd is right and there is absolutely zilch that is racist about him thinking Ward beats GGG. :nod

Why assume...for every Vitali and Mayweather there have been twice as many that fell apart after long lay offs or injuries.

No way of telling if Ward is still World Class until he proves it again.

History has shown us that guys like Ward aren't affected as much by long layoffs. He had surgery and was out for 14 months and looked really sharp in his first fight back and it was against a live guy. Ward is a disciplined guy who takes care of himself, and stays in the gym. He'll be fine. The guys that are really hurt by long layoffs are the fighters that don't live right and/or take a lot of punishment in the ring.

Mayweather isn't gonna give GGG credit. Even if he were to fight and defeat Ward, Mayweather would still talk ****.
