That was a crazy ass performance i still get a hard on watching that fight to this day it was out of this world:yep

    Lampley"that's a fighter"

    Steward "unbelievable machine"

He was so tiny in comparison to margo when you think that cotto couldn't even really hurt or put margo on the back you foot you see how bad ass Pac is:yep

The only other guy who destroyed Margo was a roided mosley

so Question do you think we will ever see something like this at 154 and below?

    and if so any names?

REMEMBER I DON'T MEAN OUTBOX THE BIGGER GUY I MEAN TRY TO FORCE THE STOPPAGE

What takes guts: stepping between the ropes

A shot Mosley did a better job. Everyone already knows that Margarita was a bum without her weapons.

It was a good win for Pac though.

Yeah, wonderful job beating up a shopworn, weight drained cheater who had been violently KO'ed the previous year lol

Margarito win for Pac is as close to a No Contest as a highly marketed fight for a legendary fighter gets as far as I how I view what it does for legacy or resume. Margarito was banned for substance in the gloves which cast doubt on everything he had done before getting completely wiped out by Mosley. He was then suspended (not nearly long enough) for well over a year before beating Robert Garcia (surprisingly decent little comeback fight) and then getting the Pac fight at 150 pounds. His only fight after that was Cotto rematch which also should have never happened from the cyborg eye he needed to replace the eye he got busted against Pac. And he lost every minute of every round to Cotto as well... He was nothing more than a money play for Top Rank after the loaded gloves were found and it was amazing that he was ever allowed to fight again. It should be shocking that the public, boxing community, WBC, commissions, and everyone involved allowed it and endorsed it. My same complaints about this fight apply to Cotto vs. Margarito II (admittedly, the rematch/revenge element plus another couple differences make it ever so slightly more justifiable; still not a relevant or legacy boosting win for Cotto)... Plus much of my lack of respect for this match up comes from having always found Margarito to be amazingly overrated throughout even his peak years of achievement. I don't understand the retroactive hype on him... Margarito had never accumulated a relevant victory at 154 beyond the Garcia comeback fight and was not close to being ranked in the division, yet the Pac fight was for a title. If a serious council of die hard and rationale boxing fans and industry men sat down and listed out a Pound for Pound list at that time, Margarito would not have been listed inside the top 500. Yet this is supposed to be a victory of any significance?

You can dismantle just about anyone's victory with swings and roundabouts, it was an outstanding performance regardless, appreciate it for what it was.

There's many greater fighters than Manny who achieved MUCH more than beating a cheater who was weight drained in Margarito.

Much greater fights occurred in the history of the sport that involved MUCH greater fighters than Pacman.

I never had any respect for boxing_master. He's the ultimate troll and his understanding of the sport is rudimentary at best.

Him not honoring a permaban bet seems fitting for someone like him. I have no respect for him as a poster, and to see him not honoring his bet just confirms that he's not a man whatsoever. I don't know any grown adult that doesn't honor their bets.
