I love to watch Golovkin fight, and when Golovkin wants to use his defense, he has it, he can slip punches, watch the first two rounds against Monroe how easily he slipped those punches, then Golovkin knew that Monroe could not hurt him so he let up on his defense, but when he needs defense he has it....................but he is an exciting fighter, not a slugger, a very skilled fighter...............
I don't mind GGG but some of his fans are insufferable. It's almost as bad as when I liked Pac years ago but started to root against him because the vast majority of his fans are complete imbeciles. Triples G's fans are bordering on the same insanity. Another thing is HBO hyping a guy so much when I feel he hasn't truly proven himself other than crushing cans. They tried to build Pavlik in the same way....I see a pattern there.....
Someone disliking a fighter because of his fans is probably one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard. If you like a fighter, it doesn't matter what other people say. If you base your interest off of what his fans say then I doubt that that person was even a legitimate fan. Probably a fan of the hype and not the fighter.
I'm a huge fan of GGG, but I find some of his fans (but not all of the them) mind numbing and incredibly annoying in their fanatical devotion bordering on extremism. However I try to not let it effect my opinion on GGG. I'm a huge EE supporter so you know they can get out of control if they get to me.
Froch is my Boy.:deal I've been of his for years and I'm loyal to a fault. Which blows up in my face often.
I am not a fan of his. But I like to watch his fights and have seen all of his since winning the WBA title.
Definitely! since 2009 when Felix Sturm was ducking him in germany It is so great that he finally got his chance to fight on HBO and show the fans how great he is http://www.boxingforum24.com/showthread.php?p=6626164#post6626164 My favorite fighter is still Juan Manuel Marquez but I'm not sure if he ever fights again
Na man, being a Froch fan never blows up in your face. Even if he loses, he leaves it all in the ring. He's the Ultimate Warrior (if it's his so called arrogance youre talking about, a lot of it's tongue and cheek, and a lot of people dont get his sense dry of humour. he's a great guy, hilarious, and totally self confident)
