Good performance by Parker. Saglam may be a journeymen but he's one of those guys that actually shows up to fight, he was giving Charr all kinds of problems before pulling out due to a shoulder injury. Parker has made some improvements, he doesn't load up as much as seems more accurate for it. He looks deadly at mid range, would love to see him in against Povetkin at some point those 2 could end up having a very entertaining fight with the way they both put their punches together so nicely.
I don't think Povetkin will still be around when Parker reached his prime. Joshua, Fury and Usyk might be his big rivals. :bbb
You're probably right. He'll likely beat Wilder then go for unification again with Wlad and lose then retire. By then Joshua will be 4 years a pro at 24 and only then hitting his prime. Still think it would be a great fight though if Povetkin hung around.
Knocking out Saglam in two is absolutely no joke whatsoever. Sure, that stands as the official result of Charr vs. Saglam, but that was a fluke in which Saglam was injured and had been dishing out a whooping on Charr until then.
People calling that a dive - are you re****ed? Serious question. Parker has reach of 76". Of course his right hand could reach Saglam's chin there. Just because his back was facing the camera from that angle so that we couldn't see the connection being made doesn't mean there is any reason to doubt that it did. Seriously, anyone saying that in seriousness is too stupid for words.
Wilder will have to stay away from a lot of the up coming fighters.........I think Parker would finish Wilder off. Wilder looked terrible tonight...................Wach would knock Wilder out, not to mention Vlad, etc.
Ok I joked about it before but this is getting pathetic. The fight was not fixed, Saglam was clearly there to hurt Parker - was looking in decent shape and threw punches with intent. The KO punch definitely landed, tip of the jaw, fast hard and on point as Parker is one to do. I can only guess the guys saying these things are fanbois of someone Parker could be a potential rival of and they want to see him fail. One of his biggest challenges seems to be getting good fights, people don't seem to be lining up to fight him for some reason... his team had been calling out Molina for this but Molina chose to answer Wilders call. Risk/reward ratio clearly way better there
