Why does Deontay Wilder get so much hate?

We finally have an American heavyweight world champion again with crazy knockout power and all he gets is hate. Sure, Stiverne has been the only worthy opponent but he dominated that fight. I find him much more exciting to watch than Klitschko or Fury. He and Joshua are making heavyweight boxing fun to watch again

Yeah I dont get it either. I knew he would win the title. Hes the only thing with a pulse thats come around in over a decade. Hes still a work in progress though and last night was proof he needs some work on his footwork and defense. He can get away with a lot because of his height, but that backing straight up stuff has to change and hes gotta learn to fight in close quarters with his hands up so he doesnt get his chin checked again. I found his performance last night very sloppy and amatuerish.

 

He's hated because he's obnoxious, hyped-up and not really a fighter.

 

Its Combination of many things.
> Fighting so bums earlier in his career.
>Being American (The rest of the world envy's America. Our success intimidates them).
> Race ( Being American and black).

 

Earlier? He fought 2 bums in his last 3 fights. The other one, a real contender, was ill at the fight and Wilder still couldn't knock him out.

 

Only the first one. Being American or black has nothing to do with anything. There are very few who don't like Thurman, Bradley or Jennings.

 

Wilder is hated because he's a FRAUD - his "crazy knockout power" is a mirage, the product of fighting nothing but tomato cans for six years. Notice how this supposed "power" disappeared once he fought Stiverne?

Wilder is also packing pure china in his mandible, as last night's fight showed. And yet, he still gets hyped. Based on what? Nothing.

No one dislikes those guys because they don't own ****. Wait till the win a belt or beat one of the overrated Eurobums.

****, not long ago Bradley was the most hated boxer in boxing after no fault of his own, the judges gave him a gift against Manny Pac. The guy was so despised that he was getting death threats and racist voice mail left on his phone.

When they announced him as the winner and he did the muff licking face I've got to admit I cringed.

Why everybody adored Tyson then?? Race might be a reason for some people but it is more about Al Haymon and the soft opposition. I'm pretty neutral if he can bring some excitement to the division it is a good thing.

 

fury will ****ing kill wilder. leave him with a face all cut up and nasty, ribs broken, dead legs, bruised biceps, split forehead.
