I am of the opinion that with the rampant use of PEDs that a division of superheavies should be created. I don't think it is that bad, there is just little excitement because none of the good heavies are from the United States and the champion is a long-limbed ogre-strong fleet-footed (for his size) jab-machine in an era of slow-footed big men who can punch but can't reach him and get speared from range.

AHHHHH. Sorry, had to get that out of my system.

This entire theory of mine could become moot when an American prospect turns out to be a slightly larger version of Joe Frazier or Tyson.

But maybe the increase in size has made pressure-fighting more difficult. Or maybe potential pressure fighters get blasted by all the 225-pound punchers on the way up. Which leaves the large, slower men for Wladimir to spear from range.

There are no athletic, fast pressure fighters anymore. Or even fast-starting bangers. It's all slow, durable, sometimes very skilled like Povetkin but no fast feet, lungs and a punch, which is what you need to beat Wladimir.

So yeah, I think he has another 3 or 4 good years left with PEDs and his discipline in training.

    /stream-of-consciousness ramble.

I feel Fury is a lot better than given credit for and would have beat Vitali around the time Vitali fought Chisora.

People who are sleeping on Fury are in for a rude awakening, the guy can box and brawl. What seems like a large uncoordinated oaf is actually a very smart fighter.

But win lose or draw to Fury, Wlad has established himself as one of the greatest heavyweights of all time.

Fury is the only HW Wlad will be facing who can box off the back foot like Williamson did.

Williamson's plan was to dance around Wlad and it worked. What other guy brought this angle to the ring? None.
Fury will be the first and he is bigger , stronger and more well rounded than Williamson.

If Wlad wins the fight , it will be because his power bailed him out once again. He won't out box fury. He'll turn it into a cheat fest to sneak out a bomb.

I'm 90% sure this fight will fall through anyway. They called purse bids for a reason when there was no reason for purse bids.
If he didn't want to fight Valeuv , he won't want to fight Fury.

.Wlad is going to spark Fury. Not that Fury is horrible but it's a bad matchup for him.

Wlad may get picked off by a guy no one sees coming it happens often and he is 40 so it wouldn't be a total surprise.

I think there is talent in the division but not a lot of depth. I think Wlad, Povetkin, Jennings, Pulev Takam are all good heavies. I also like Joseph Parker and Anthony Joshua on the horizon.

Fury is more clever and versatile than many give him credit for, but Wlad is going to butcher him.

I really think that Fury could give Wlad a stylistic problem but on the other hand I think Pulev could be a tough fight for him.
