    I love almost everything about Cuba the Food, the Music, the People.... I'm not head over heels in love with the Cuban Amateur style its far too slick and defensive to appeal to me, however all types of fighters deserve attention. And if these forums hold true to form its only a matter of time before a lot of posters on these forums are singing their praises and saying how everyone who doesn't get these guys don't get the true nature of the sweet science or understand Boxing in general. Which I completely disagree with, regardless many of these guys are excellent talents and could use a little exposure. I may expand this thread in the future to individual threads, for some of these guys. Most of them will be in the 2016 Olympics and may very well turn pro afterward and maybe we'll have a few more Rigondeaux's, Lara's, Hernandez's, Barthelemy's or Gamboa's in this next wave of fighters out of Cuba. But I'm personally hoping for more Ortiz's, Dorticos' and Gonzalez's.

    I don't know a whole lot about Cuba but I love their fighters, masters of boxing.

    Well I'm well versed in almost everything Cuban. Especially their cuisine, I love their black beans and rice.:thumbsup

    De La Cruz is a very skilled fighter. Has a pro-boxing style.
    I would also love to see Savon as a pro, and I think Cuba wil win multiple boxing gold medals at Rio 2016.

    I agree I did individual threads on both of them about 6 months ago. I prefer Savon stylewise to La Cruz though, La Cruz tends to run too much for me.

    Erislandy is the nephew of the great Felix Savon if I'm correct, does that mean we have to assume he'll never turn pro?
