Think of prime Frazier though. Very quick handed with that hook even at mid to long range. The guy was an animal in his prime. One quick hook and I think Wlad is down for the count.

Frazier rarely ko'd anyone with one punch.
Which fighters of any stature did he actually knock out, as in put down for the count.? Bob Foster and Doug Jones 2 light heavies really.

Wlad's chin isn't great but then neither was Joe's.Oscar had him ready for bed in their first fight.

Oscar could bang......very strong puncher. Wlad wiskers are highly debatable. Generally when hit clean his legs turn to rubber.

Bonavena was a clubber not a top flight puncher imo. He never ko'd anyone of class.

You didn't answer my question about Frazier.
Btw. I'm not a Wlad fan, he bores me with that cynical holding and his panic attacks when under pressure.

    Best summary of possible fight

Question I have is would steward try to change wlad from just pecking away tentatively with his jab to be more aggressive in the sense of moving forward with an aggressive forceful jab keeping joe from getting his balance

Who did anyone ever Ko with one punch? It's a rarity. My thought is any big banger who hits Wlads chin cleanly is going to cave it in. Whether that one punch ends the fight or it leads to an eventual stoppage is a mute point.

The prime Joe Frazier get's inside the robotic Klitschko, and swarms over
Klitschko who hates to mix it up...And sooner or later a left hook drops Vlad for the count. Today the heavyweight division quality of fighters is horrendous compared to previous era's. Due to potential top heavyweights
going into baseball, football and basketball where they have a better chance
to make a living without getting their brains scrambled...I have sair it before and I will say it again, I believe firmly that a Primo Carnera or a buddy Baer, though not great heavyweights, would mix it up with Vlad and beat him
IMO...Vlad cannot or will not exchange , but a Frazier will through tireless aggression bring down the big mam...Sue Me...

The division is certainly very weak. When guys like Wach,Leapai,Pianeta,Mormeck,Pulev,Jennings are the best it can offer.

I think Haye was quicker than Frazier.

If it turns into Frazier's style of fight: Frazier
If it turns into Wlad's style of fight: Wlad

Could you seriously be putting Bryant Jennings and Kubrat Pulev in the same class as the other guys? Could you seriously believe the other guys were the best the division could offer and in the same class as Pulev, Jennings, Povetkin, Haye, Thompson, etc? I mean seriously? This makes sense to you or are you trolling?

No way does Pulev and Jennings deserve to be mentioned with the remainder of that lot.

Wlad is way too big and hits way too hard for Frazier's porous defense for this to be competitive. Although if you do want to pressure Wlad you do need a left hook. Maybe if you put Frazier on steroids he'd have a shot
