You act like a 126 Salido's easy to beat, even seasoned pros struggle with him, Mikey looked bad before the stoppage, Rocky was getting his ass beat, Gamboa struggled, Juanma was destroyed x2, you're way off on this one.

Bad comparison man. Salido not only missed weight by 3 lbs, he then bloated up 21 lbs over the contracted weight. Floyd has never fought an opponent who came in more than 17 lbs over the contracted and he's spent his entire career at higher weight classes than Loma which makes the corresponding weights equal to a more significant % of their body weight. On top of that, Salido didn't leave as much on the scales as a fighter normally would when enjoying a size advantage like that because he didn't even push himself to make the weight. Add on top of that one of the most disgraceful refereeing performances that I can ever remember AND the fact that Loma could well still have deserved the decision or at least a draw and it's one of the most shameful nights in recent boxing history.

I don't call the doctor waving off a fight because someone's eyebrow is hanging off his face a legit KO. It was stopped but not a real KO. Did you see Vitali lying sprawled out in the ring with his tongue hanging out ....No. therefore it wasn't a KO.:deal And no one should be proud of it and brag.

No it's not a legit KO, it's a legit RTD which is a legit stoppage which is a legit way to win a fight. And a fighter you like wins a fight legitimately you have every right to be proud and brag :deal

:bartNot when your fighter was getting beaten down early and still barely winning rounds against the guy with his eyebrow hanging off.

4-2 is a close fight and the guy who can't see is not the favorite going forward.

Doesn't matter because a legit RTD due to legally inflicted punches is a perfectly legitimate win even if he were down 6-0 :happy

I understand your POV, I really do. Unfortunately, it doesn't make a difference.

I know when injuries are involved it's hard to keep the "what if" mindset gone. There's always that asterisk in won/losses in any sport where injuries affects a team/person.

Don't let that upset you though. You will probably get a rematch, and you'll get a 2nd chance to at the very least truly accept that Mayweather is the better boxer when both fight healthy(er).

It doesn't bother me in the least, it is what it is, but the reactions of all of the fans that can't accept that the win of their guy is slightly tainted and they won't admit it is what I'm touching on.

I know it gets to you all of the people denying Manny's injury, saying he was faking it, and I guess the surgery as well was a hoax, they're maddening.

Also I like to write.... it comes very easily to me this took about 25 minutes. And I felt like getting this off my chest. :thumbsup

Seriously, I don't understand this at all. The rabbit punch thing I agree with, but the rest is just confusing. I can't understand what the point is. So one person wins an athletic competition, but since you don't like the legal way he won, the victory is tainted??? Can someone help me understand?

It is aggravating. What upsets me is the ignorance. People are willing to accept all these things that have been said of his injury without looking into the truth in the slightest. It's not fair for Pacquiao. The dude has one of the best reputations in boxing, maybe the entire sports world, and I hate to see it be tainted by ignorant people.

I will admit it a torn rotator cuff during the Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight does taint it some. It'd be the same for Mayweather if he had it and lost. Pacquiao says it held him at 50% of his ability, and people can say "lie" but he has never given his fans a reason to not believe him. If any dude deserves the benefit of doubt, it's him. Reason why I hope for a rematch.

Sure, the outcome will be the same, but at least Pacquiao's fans and others, maybe even Pacquiao himself, will sleep better at night and not pondering over the "what if I was healthy" mindset.

I agree with some of that.

Mine: Kendall Holt vs Ricardo Torres 2 is one of the worst. Ricardo was lighting Holt up, knocked him down twice I believe. Then Holt headbutts him, Ricardo gets stunned badly and I believe he gets tangled up in the ropes, Kendall gets a free shot and unloads his best, KO.

The biggest bull**** win I've seen.

Agree with everything you said, however the idea of a rematch nauseates me a little, because it always something in the Pacquiao-Mayweather circus that will go awry, or give one of the camps reasons to protest, but they should do it just to clear up any doubt, and if somehow someway Manny pulls it out, then it will all start again because it'll be a razor close win that will require yet another rematch.:patsch
